The diversion is very extensive and a steep ascent but a very nice view. If you want to avoid the ascent, you should exit early on the other side of the Salzach before the diversion and cycle through the villages or a short distance on the main road

Of course you can also drive differently to Schwarzach. Coming from Bischofshofen at the second Salzach bridge in the direction of the ÖAMTC under the underpass and then in the direction of Naglerdorf. Here you can ride to Schwarzach then on the bike path.
