    When we visited in winter, the stairs were nowhere to be seen, and the path partly resembled a toboggan run. Aids such as spikes and/or sticks are absolutely necessary, especially for the descent, otherwise falls are actually inevitable. Most of the time we slipped down on the seat of our pants because there was no other way... The locals still run uphill and downhill undeterred. Respect! 💪
