It's especially beautiful to explore in April and May, when it's not yet too hot, yet the sun is already shining warmly. The view from the citadel of the still snow-capped peaks of the Pindus Mountains is breathtaking. It's recommended to leave your car a little further away and walk towards the citadel and the old town, as parking is limited and the streets are narrow.
