A real gem in the "smallest town in Switzerland" according to Wikipedia with around 55 to 60 inhabitants. When the sun is shining, it is hard to find a place in the cafes by the lake. There is a large parking lot on the south-eastern bank.

tourist hotspot. Beautiful little lake near Buchs/SG, with Werdenberg Castle and the tiny medieval village of Werdenberg. Plenty of seating on the lake shore, in summer there is also a small "lake stage" and restaurant on the lake.
