The sex of Totzenbacher is detectable from 1147. The Gothic castle is spared by the Turks and serves as a refuge for the people of the surrounding villages. The extension took place in 1588 - now in the possession of the Trauttmannsdorffer, in the Renaissance style. 1756 a round tower is mentioned, which was built at the baroque decoration over the moat. In 1809, the castle is not occupied by the French, but attacked. In 1971, the municipality of Totzenbach bought the now-defunct castle ruin of Prince Liechtenstein, the then owner, and sold it in 1974 to Josef Figl, who in the following years created a castle from the ruins again. The creation of a pond becomes a moated castle. Today you can rent the castle for various occasions.
