O Cebreiro is a village in which a group of pallozas or stone houses with thatched roofs remain standing, inhabited until not long ago. One of them, but of modern construction, is integrated into one of the two rural tourism establishments that the town has; another, much older, has been converted into an ethnological museum, with free admission, open morning and afternoon.

Hiking

O Cebreiro (located between La Faba and Triacastela according to the classification of the "Rother" on stage 26) has a very beautiful Romanesque church with a side paradise (porch in the entrance area). The Pilgrim's Guide states: "The Sanctuary of Santa Maria de Real, built in the 9th century, is the oldest surviving church on the Way."
