St. Maria Himmelfahrt with her eight-sided roof turret and the
"Lantern", a turret-like attachment. The church is the oldest building in town, built around 1195 as a Romanesque pillar basilica and
Collegiate Church of the Augustinian Choir Women. After several fires, the picture is today baroque; inside there are three original baroque altars from the early 17th century. The former monastery building now houses the German Blade Museum.
