The effort of the surprisingly long climb from the valley station to the Belchenhaus is rewarded with a sensational view on nice days. Unfortunately only in the direction north-east-south, for the west and the Vosges you would have to walk all the way to the summit, which is practically impossible with racing bike shoes.
Attention: in the Belchenhaus you can only pay in cash. There is a comprehensive and varied offer for this.
