Grävenitz Castle, also known as the New Castle, is located on the northern edge of Heimsheim's historic center, directly adjacent to the so-called Schlegler Castle. The baroque building was built in 1729/1730 by Paolo Retti. The two-story plastered structure with a mansard roof is accessible via a double staircase. Inside, the contemporary ceiling painting depicting Hercules at the Crossroads by Carlo Carlone adorns what is now the council chamber.
