Agriturismo Le Saline is a historic company that was founded around 1860 by the Armenian Mechitarist Fathers, still living on the island of San Lazzaro. It is spread over about 8 hectares between the inlets of the lagoon, with the cultivation of vegetables (peas, salads, tomatoes, aubergines, courgettes, cabbages, caps), wheat and hay for animals (steers, pigs and poultry). Here there are also fish farming activities (boseghe, fox, eels, shrimps, sea bass and sea bream).
