Hiking
Bakehouses were particularly common in village areas until the 1960s. Regular baking days by community members saved the bakery, their own oven and energy. The baking day was also an important event for the community. News was exchanged here while waiting for bread and cake. Another reason for building the bakehouses was to reduce the risk of fire caused by baking in individual households.
