The fountain sculpture on Wilkeplatz depicts scenes from the history of Beleck in six stylized oaks. Information on the individual scenes can be found in a showcase in the immediate vicinity of the fountain. The fountain sculpture was created by Belecker artist Fri-Jo Müller-Belecke (1932-2008) on the occasion of the 1050th anniversary of the city in 1988 and inaugurated on Belecker storm day 1989.
The fountain sculpture has been the starting point of the “historical tour” since 2021.
