The sulphur springs of Bad Langensalza were discovered in the Unstrut floodplains in 1811. The sulphur water is used in the spa department of the thermal bath and the nearby rehabilitation clinic "An der Salza" as a bath to treat rheumatic and skin diseases.
The water is not suitable for drinking!
