The road through Draethen is incredibly picturesque, windy and with the right amount of inclines. It’s also relatively smooth for such a small road, just watch out for the odd pothole.

The road itself winds right through the beautiful town of Draethen. You’ll pass 2 nice pubs as you go.

Picturesque, mostly rollers, decent surface (with the odd pothole here and there). More of a descent from the Caerphilly side with a lump at the beginning, gradual drag from the Lower Machen side.
