The Ziegeleisee is located in a wooded area on the edge of Nindorf, south of Lamstedt in the Lower Saxony district of Cuxhaven.
The water can be reached via Ziegeleistraße, with parking spaces on the east bank. The tree-lined lake has inaccessible banks with a protection zone in the north. There are some niches between the trees that invite you to sit down. Overhanging branches offer shelters close to the shore for perch, which eels also like to visit in the evening. If you want to outsmart the coarse fish, you should look for sandbanks and shallow water zones with underwater vegetation, because the clay hole offers only a few interesting structures for carp or tench. Feeders or long-term feeding areas will certainly bring the fish you want on the hook.
The Ziegeleisee is managed by the Hemmoor fishing club together with the Lamstedt fishing club. Guest tickets are not issued.
