Hiking

The mid-level escalators connect the Central and the Western District on Hong Kong Island. They are over 800 meters long and overcome 135 meters in height. In the morning (from 6:00 to 10:00 clock), the escalators go downhill, in the afternoon and in the evening they go up. It is always only in one direction, the other direction must take the stairs! : O) To drive all the way with the escalators takes 20-25 minutes.

Convenient method to climb on the hill, nice experience. But consider that some of the escalators will not work, you will climb more than expected stairs! ;-)
