The Receptur is a late baroque building ensemble that was built around 1710 and served as an administrative headquarters. Today, the Receptur houses, among other things, the Kronberg registry office.
From Friedrich-Ebert-Straße, you enter the Recepturhof through a Gothic archway from 1570. This is a preserved part of the former “Westerburg”, one of the residences of the Lords of Kronberg next to the castle and the Hellhof.
