A Christian shrine perched on a granite rock along Brittany's Pink Granite Coast, accessible at low tide but surrounded by water during high tides. This arch-shaped monument, dating from the late 11th to early 12th century, houses a granite statue of Saint Guirec in bishop's robes and has been classified as a historic monument since 1903.

The structure features pink sandstone columns and incorporates foundation stones that appear to originate from an Iron Age Gallic stele.

According to local legend, unmarried young women stick pine needles into the saint's nose - if the needle survives the high tide, they will supposedly marry within the year, a tradition that wore down the original wooden statue so severely it had to be replaced with granite.
