Tips
Fröhlichsturm in Mals – the round tower is 33.5 meters high. The castle, which dates back to the 12th or 13th century, was already the seat of the court at the beginning of the 14th century and was owned by the sovereign. Today only the round, mighty keep rises up from the remains of the walls of former residential buildings. Legend has it that the stones from the castle were removed and the parish church was rebuilt after the arson in 1799.
