In 2019, Frank Städler and Odette Bollfras set up a village shop in the building on the southern outskirts of Kienitz, which was built in 1952 as a border police barracks and is now used as a residential building. In addition to food and everyday goods, predominantly regional, seasonal and ecological, regional arts and crafts are also offered here.
