The large Olympic ski jump in Garmisch-Partenkirchen is located on the Gudiberg and is traditionally the venue for the New Year's ski jumping event of the Four Hills Tournament. It has now become a landmark of Garmisch, and (almost) everyone knows the ski jump from the New Year's ski jumping event broadcast on TV every year.
