You are not allowed to ride a bike in the park. But walking in the park is beautiful. As inconspicuous as the island of Stein looks from the outside, the "amphie theater" and the "underworld" are super exciting.

The island of Stein with the artificial volcano and the Villa Hamilton is one of the most unusual creations in the Wörlitz Park. The ensemble is intended to commemorate the Prince's trip to Italy. Prince Franz wanted to show his people the most striking sights of Italy in a very small space.
After decades of neglect, the island was completely redeveloped in the 1990s. The volcano can thus be operated effectively again.
