This is the transition from Oxford Street at Marble Arch into Kensington Park, be wary of the Traffic lights and traffic here.

Bit messy crossing, but once through the arc and in the park a relaxed ride.

Kensington is a borough in west London that is part of the borough of Kensington and Chelsea. Located directly on the western edge of Hyde Park, the district with its predominantly Victorian buildings offers the well-kept image of an aristocratic district that is considered "royal". There are also a few down-to-earth cafes, pubs and bars (especially on Kensington Church Street).

The district is famous for being in the immediate vicinity of Kensington Palace and due to the very high real estate prices of some prominent luxury properties on the edge of Kensington Gardens and Hyde Park, as well as Albertopolis, a museum district in which the Royal Albert Hall is also located.

In the west of Kensington, there are some social buildings in the vicinity of the multi-lane main thoroughfare Westway, including the Grenfell Tower, made famous by a fire in June 2017.
