A detour is worthwhile to observe the famous Dülmen wild horses. The entrance fee is €5 and must be paid to a warden at a hut. The tour then continues to a park area with restrooms and where the wild horses live. The horses can only be admired every Saturday/Sunday from the end of March and on public holidays.
