A place where the term wildly romantic really applies. The cliffs rise steeply and the mountain stream gently bubbles through its deeply incised bed. At the end of the valley, the impressive glaciated peaks of the Hohe Tauern rise.

Mountaineering
one of the most original side valleys in the Umbaltal. Nice, long climb over the Daberlenke on Rudi Tham Weg to the Neue Reichenberger Hütte (2586m). But be careful, only for sure-footed mountain hikers. You should also always count on old snow fields, which you have to cross.
