The park lakes in Stuttgart (Bärensee, Neuer See and Pfaffensee) and the Bärenschlössle are among the most popular excursion destinations for the people of Stuttgart - for the whole family. Ideal for a little break!

After a fire, the Bärenschlössle - a former princely hunting lodge - was lovingly reconstructed historically. It is located in the red and wild boar park near Solitude Castle and - surrounded by playgrounds and barbecue areas - is open all year round. Drinks and snacks from tarte flambée to Swabian Vespers ensure a delicious break! The dream view of the deer meadow opposite and the elongated park lakes is of course included.

On the orders of Duke Christoph, the Pfaffensee was artificially dammed in 1566, followed later by the Bärensee and the Neue See in order to secure Stuttgart's drinking water supply.

Watch waterfowl while walking around the promenade... Enjoy delicious specialties in the Bärenschlössle and enjoy the beautiful view on the meadows... The park lakes invite you to take a break from everyday life!
