The lock in Altfriesack is located in the Ruppiner waters and connects the Bützsee with the Ruppiner See via the Rhin Canal. The lock together with the lock house and the bascule bridge based on the Dutch model are listed. The bridge over the Rhin Canal was originally built in 1787 as a wooden structure and replaced with a steel structure in 1927. In 1994, the complete and monument-appropriate renovation took place.
