In connection with the social transformation in the new federal states, eight former members of the Pirna Rowing Club took the initiative to revive the club on November 28, 1991.
The redesign and thus the cornerstone of the management of the boathouse started as early as 1992. This also includes the club's own restaurant "Bootshaus".
