Barro parish church built in the 18th century with donations from the Indians. This was the name given to the wealthy Asturian emigrants who made their fortune in America and whose contribution to construction has generated a building style throughout the principality.
The church is located on a small peninsula in the estuary and highlights the cemetery in the back that overlooks the water. The architect responsible for the work was Silvestre Pérez, who was José Bonaparte's architect.
