The small community of Vorderhornbach is located in the Lech Valley, at the entrance to the Hornbachtal, and is home to around 250 residents.
The quiet, sunny location of Vorderhornbach amid green meadows and the steep mountain slopes of the Lechtal and Allgäu Alps attracts those looking for relaxation and nature lovers. In summer, locals and guests enjoy the unique landscape of the Lechtal Nature Park while hiking, mountain biking, climbing or fishing. And in winter the snow-covered Vorderhornbach shows itself from its most beautiful side while cross-country skiing or on the winter hiking trails.
The Lechtal's closeness to nature is also evident in the leisure facilities. The Badino adventure pool in Vorderhornbach is always worth a visit, especially on warm summer days. The clear water of the natural bathing pond is only cleaned by natural filters and plants, without any chemicals. The entire facility with jumping rocks and playground is also built exclusively with natural materials.
