Ortenberg Castle is beautifully situated on the vineyards. From here you have a fantastic view of the magnificent building. In the past, the lords of the castle kept an eye out for enemies, today there is a youth hostel in one part of the castle. The view from the castle keep into the Kinzig valley is terrific!

Even from afar, the view of Ortenberg Castle is a feast for the eyes. The castle is said to have been destroyed twice and rebuilt in the English style. The English architectural style is clearly recognizable.
