Here are 170 fruit trees and a wild fruit hedge, also several bee colonies on the edge. All trees have godparents. In addition, there is a flower meadow for bees and insects.

With around 170 different fruit and nut trees, Nabu and city marketing have created an orchard meadow in Hohnhorstpark. The initiators want to demonstrate original fruit growing. The orchard meadow also provides food and nesting places for numerous animals. Tree sponsorships for 15 years are possible. Godparents can then harvest the trees. There is no obligation to care.

The orchard is not worth seeing because of the trees, especially since these can only be harvested by the tree sponsors, but rather because a mixed flock of sheep grazes here. There are also a few information boards here.
