As the lake is quite shallow, many blue-green algae grow here in summer. Nevertheless, one can at least refresh one's feet here after a hike. On the north shore there is a bungalow park and a campsite.

The riverside path is unfortunately not visible on the Komoot map. But it is available and also easily accessible. In addition, it offers a lot of beautiful viewpoints on Lake Chossewitz. There are also plenty of seats (benches) that invite you to linger.
