Batterie Todt - Turm IV is one of four large bunkers that were part of a German coastal battery during World War II1. The battery was built by Organization Todt, near the French village of Audinghen, on the Channel at Cap Gris-Nez in the Pas-de-Calais department. The bunker had a 380mm gun that could fire shells up to 55 kilometers away, and could even reach England. The bunker was attacked by the Canadians in September 1944, but remained intact. Now you can visit the bunker and even take a look at the fireroom and ammunition storage. There is also a museum in another bunker, Turm I, where you can learn more about the battery and the Atlantic Wall.
