Tips
On the coastal path from Arco de São Jorge in the direction of Boaventura you pass the ruins of the old sugar factory. In this seemingly enchanted place, the path leads past a gnarled plane tree to the Ribeira do Porco, which flows a few meters further into the roaring sea.

Surprisingly little frequented, quiet place.
The ruins themselves cannot be fully explored as they are partially closed off.
