In 1821 a couple of poor families moved to Quickborner Strasse and the “Frederiksgabe” poor colony was opened up under the leadership of the Danish conference councilor Daniel Lawaetz. On August 28th, a memorial stone was placed on the peace oak planted here in spring in honor of the 200th anniversary.
