Château et forges de Syam

This former house of the master of the Syam ironworks Jean-Emmanuel Jobez impresses with its incongruity. This castle, which is inspired by Italian culture, is also called Villa Palatina. Close to the forges, this building and the stables that go with it are however built at a good distance to avoid the noise pollution of the industrial steel site on the riverbank.

This place is surprising in the heart of the Jura. Although the residence is private property, the rooms on the ground floor and the important library on the top floor are open to visitors.

The stables host various events.
