Another hot day, we left early to get our place in the shade by the lake. When we're left it was 30 degrees plus but the wind kept us cooler 😎. Same again tomorrow but driving to lake to be joined by son and grandkids.... Got to make most of this weather.

Perfect weather for cycling. Rode to Lac Chalain today for breakfast and a swim. Lots of climbing but the wind and a cold water stop meant it was pleasant. Great morning out will do the same tomorrow.

So we cycled toward the black cloud, expected to keep dry. Wrong, rescued by by a bus shelter where we enjoy breakfast before completing the ride to Champagnole which will be a start town of this years TDF.
