Hiking
The construction of the Zionskirche (Danish Zions kirke, Greenlandic Zionip oqaluffia) began in 1779 and was completed after three years in 1782. Half of the building was financed by the population, while the other half of the construction costs were taken over by Den Kongelige Grønlandske Handel, after they had agreed to the requirement that part of the church be used as a hospital. The dark story building has a church tower as the central roof turret. The building was restored in 1907 and moved about 50 meters inland in 1929/30.
