The Motte Bolleberg is the impressive remnant of a two-part wooden earth castle (Turmhügelburg) on the western outskirts of Brüggelchen (Bollbergstraße), a district of the municipality of Waldfeucht, consisting of a truncated cone of around 50 m in diameter at the base and the irregular trapezoidal shape of an upstream bailey area of about 50 × 50 m, which are surrounded by trenches.
Contrary to widespread, now outdated attributions, the moth plant was not a "fleeing castle" from the time of the Norman invasions in the 9th century, but a fortified farm estate from the 12th / 13th centuries. Century.
