Marine Drive is the long pull out of Douglas along the Raad ny Foillan coastal path. The views are stunning, with so many little coves to look down onto and dramatic cliffs. The Marine Drive archway, which was originally constructed in 1891, is a former toll gate, indicating that Marine Drive used to be a toll road.

It used to be possible to drive there by car, but due to the collapsing cliff part of the road collapsed into the sea. Wonderful views you can see dolphins.

Marine drive is an old road with an impressive archway. It is a tarmac road but you start to get beautiful views down the rugged coastline of the Isle of Man.
