The St. Adalbert Church in Ostašov was built in 1827 to replace a wooden chapel built in 1771 to compensate for the suffering in the Seven Years' War (Battle of Liberec). Originally 2 cannon balls were walled in over the entrance portal, but these were removed again in 1880 during renovation work.
