The bronze sculpture by the Lenzen artist Bernd Streiter shows a Grabower original Guste Trahn. This sculpture was set up on the Rehberger Bridge next to the local history museum.

Guste Trahn was born in Kolbow in 1885 and discovered a niche in the market after World War II when she swept up horse droppings and sold them to allotment gardeners.

Guste is holding her broom in one hand, behind her is the horse manure pulling cart. She holds out her hand in the direction of Ludwigslust, because she often walked there to the linden pastry shop.

Guste is a Grabower original that many older Grabowers fondly remember and tell one or the other funny story.
