The digestion tower on Neue Straße in Creglingen is a massive medieval city tower that was part of the city fortifications. It got its name from its role as the city's prison tower, where the prisoners were supposed to rot.

Today it is no longer a prison, on the contrary: it has been converted into a comfortable holiday home. The three floors of the historic tower have been converted into beautiful living spaces with kitchenettes. The upper windows offer a great view of the city for overnight guests of the tower, which elegantly combines old and new.
