Next to the Lord Church in Creglingen is the Fingerhutmuseum, which is well worth a visit!

The Herrgottskirche in Creglingen is an Evangelical Lutheran church and former pilgrimage chapel, the main work of which is the Marienretabel by Tilman Riemenschneider.
The Creglinger Herrgottskapelle was founded in 1389 by the brothers Konrad and Gottfried von Hohenlohe-Brauneck after a farmer found a host while plowing a field, according to legend. Since numerous signs and wonders are said to have taken place at this point, the chapel was built on the same spot. From then on it served as a pilgrimage chapel and as a place of remembrance for the dead for the respective sovereigns. First of all, the "two lowest altars", meaning the northern side altar and the Corpus Christi altar in the middle of the nave, were consecrated on March 21, 1389. The "Oberst altar", the altar in the choir, was consecrated together with the choir on December 12, 1396. The southern side altar was donated by Count Michael von Hardeck in 1432. The chapel was subordinate to the respective sovereigns (dominum temporale). After the Creglingen territories were sold to Margrave Albrecht Achilles in 1448, the town belonged to Brandenburg-Ansbach. Under canon law, Creglingen was under the diocese of Würzburg until the Reformation.
