Kwaremont is an artists' village with a particularly picturesque charm. Artists first came here in the 1940s and were inspired by it. Studios sprang up and galleries sprang up like mushrooms. In the 70s and 80s of the last century, the Kwaremont - the 111 meter high mountain that gave the place its name - developed into a popular destination.

Speaking of excursion destinations: Restaurant 't Monument is also a recommended destination - if you like French-Belgian cuisine. Pieter and Evelyne Van Welden-Druon spoil you with exclusive specialities, first-class fresh products and charming simplicity.

Definitely worth seeing is the whitewashed St. Amandus Church with a monumental main altar in neo-baroque style and other beautiful works of art, including a painting "Adoration of the Magi" from the late 17th century.
