The temple was built around 1500. In 1777, the building was rebuilt and a wooden tower was built into the roof of the church, which was topped with a golden rooster a few years later. In 1888, an organ was installed by Barnim Grüneberg, an organ builder from Szczecin. On April 18, 2002, floodlights were installed to illuminate the building after dark
