Eibach Castle is the ruin of a moated castle .... It was built in the 14th century as a moated castle with a base area of 15 by eight meters. The first documentary mention was made in 1356.

In the 15th and 16th centuries the estate was owned by the von Neuhoff knightly family, known as Ley. Then it was taken over by the Seraing family.

The castle burned down on the night of December 16-17, 1782. The mighty round tower in the south-east and partly the south wing of the outer castle from the 17th century have been preserved. After the disaster, Graf von Wallmoden bought the house, but in 1809 the inventory was auctioned off.
