The path around the lake is largely flat and without any transverse slope, the surfaces alternate between tar, gravel and lawn. The lake has a water surface of approx. 11.5 ha and was built in 1972 as a flood retention basin. Help for a wheelchair user is only necessary in a few sections.
There are several benches by the lake for a little rest.

The Härtsfeldsee, actually a flood retention basin for the Egautal, a small lake on the Härtsfeld. It has a water surface of approx. 11.5 hectares and was built in 1972 as a flood retention basin by the Egau water association. The route of the disused Härtsfeldbahn runs past the lake.
There are several benches at the lake where you can take a break.
