The Bischemer or Büscheme toad is the secret heraldic animal of Tauberbischofsheim. The new toad facility was inaugurated in 2020. The bronze sculpture in the form of a water-spouting toad was created by the Laudenbach sculptor Leo Wirth. Wirth has already designed the Riemenschneider fountain with his life-size sculptures.
